QUALITY stars NY is sponsoring a series of free trainings for Child Care Providers and Center Administration to assist them in understanding the components of QUALITY stars NY. Part 1 and Part 2 will be held on April 21 8am-12:30; Part 1; "Introduction to QUALITY stars NY; the focus of the training will be to orient child care providers with the process of receiving a star rating.
 Part 2; "Self-Assessment:Preparing for Program Improvement"; the focus will be on the importance of self assessment and how Environmental Rating Scales will assist in making program improvements. Participants will receive a copy of the Envirormental Rating Scales rating scale tool.
Part 3 will be held on May 12 9am -12:30. "First Steps for Quality Improvement" Participants will bring back the enviromental rating scale to discuss  and development a plan for making improvements to their program.
All trainings will be located at the Child Care Council of Oneida County, Cornell Cooperative Ext.

I am an 24 year old au pair from Columbia, who is would like to live with an American family and provide live-in childcare. I am a University graduate,? speak fluent English and Spanish,? have an International Driver's license, and a valid/legal visa. I can cook meals for the kids, do light housekeeping, laundry, help with homework, and run errands. I will help keep your house organized, and make sure your kids are safe, happy, and thriving. I have experience with toddler/twins, infants, and children up to 16 years old. I have been through an extensive application process,? have had a background check done, and have references.?
