This training developed by OCFS and Dept of Health is intended for providers who are not on CACFP and those who choose to take the training will receive training credit.

Dear Mary Ellen,

It was great meeting you today. The HAL session was informative and engaging. It was extremely well organized and the hospitality was outstanding.

I wanted to forward the attachments for the Healthy Beverage training; one is a full page announcement and the other is intended as a handout. Please adapt as needed for posting.

Some background information- OCFS and CACFP developed the 45 minute training to help family and group family day care providers learn the new regulation for serving healthy beverages. The training is free and provides credit hours. The target audiences for the training are Family and Group Family Day Care Providers that do not participate in CACFP. Day Care Home Providers that participate in CACFP already meet and exceed the regulations and are not required to take the training.
