NEW!  Essential Plan

The Essential Plan is a new health plan that makes coverage even more affordable for many New Yorkers. At just $20 a month per adult or nothing at all depending on income, it offers eligible consumers the same essential benefits as other plans, including preventive care, and it has no deductibles.

Essie is the latest character featured in NY State of Health's ongoing educational video series. This video, detailing the advantages of the Essential Plan, follows Essie as she realizes the value of having health coverage and how affordable it can be.
