The following message was sent from CACFP regarding the Zika virus:

This is official correspondence from CACFP regarding a Zika Travel Poster created by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). If you have any questions please use the website or phone number available on the poster.

The attached poster from NYSDOH, is intended to reach pregnant women who may have travelled, or who are contemplating travel, to countries where the Zika is present. Zika is a disease caused by a virus that may involve risks to babies of mothers who were infected with Zika virus while pregnant.

Please print the attached poster, in color, and display in offices, day care centers and family day care homes where pregnant women would be likely to see it.

NYSDOH is working on translating the poster and also making print versions available for order.
