forms. A sample is taken of the Single-Unit enterprises with employees based on computations derived by mathematical statisticians (it is not a random selection of businesses). A lot of care is taken to ensure the sample is representative of all Single-Unit
employers in that industry, in the US. One respondent in the sample may count as several in the census (i.e. if that response has a sample weight of 4, then it counts as if 4 establishments had returned that data.) That makes it even more important for any
small business that receives a form to return it, since they are representing more than themselves.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#1F497D"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
