Help your Members of Congress understand the importance of affordable,
high-quality child care and early learning.

In these tough economic times, maintaining and increasing funding for child
care will be a challenge. We need your help to reach out to Members of
Congress, so that they see first-hand the importance of affordable,
high-quality child care and early learning. 

We're asking you to invite Members of Congress to high-quality child care
centers and family child care homes while they're in their home districts
for August recess or later in the year - and ask them to support continued
increases in funding for child care.

The Early Care and Education Consortium has

including sample invitations, talking points, agendas and press releases.
While the toolkit is geared toward child care programs, others in the
community can help by connecting to providers to facilitate visits with
Members of Congress. 

Together we can show Congress that high-quality child care helps children
learn and develop the skills they need while providing parents the peace of
mind to be productive at work. The National Women's Law Center is excited to
