FYI...see below. Our concerns during advocacy efforts about the website have been heard! The "Serious Violation in the past 2 years" question has been removed. I thought you would definitely be interested in knowing this and the rest of the changes to OCFS website.

OCFS Website Update

Hello All,
I wanted to update you with some recent changes to the OCFS Website.

CCFS now provides fully automated submission of fingerprint waivers. It should be noted that this waiver process replaces both the Modality Change Form and the Fingerprint Waiver Form.

Several changes have been implemented on the Day Care Search function:
Search now  includes School District
There is a display indicator that provider operates during non-traditional hours. This is defined as follows:

 *   Traditional hours of care are defined as:   SACC -  Monday through Friday two hours before and three hours after school, when school is in session, and full days following regular opening and closing times during school breaks and vacations;
 *   DCC, FDC and GFDC - Monday through from Friday 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
 *   Non-Traditional is defined as anything outside these parameters
Any reference to a "Serious"  violation no longer appear on the Website. The wording has been changed from "Is there currently unresolved serious violation" TO "Is there currently an uncorrected violation"

The question  & answer to "Has there been a serious violation in the past 2 years" has been removed from the Website.
