The Literacy Rich Environment Project
This project is designed to assist Early Care & Learning Professionals to take a closer look at making their program or Family Day Care environment literacy rich. This training session will provide you the opportunity to work with Child Care Council staff through intensive technical assistance to help in various areas including: Early Language and Literacy Rich Environments, How children learn, activities to provide strong literacy skills for children, the relationship between literacy and culture, emergent literacy, Play*Connect*Learn concepts & communicating information and progress to parents.
The overview training will be held on Monday, January 12, 2012 at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 121 Second Street, Oriskany 13424 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
