This entire susidy issue is a nightmare. We have had parents already receiving letters. We received 3 letters today. I guess each individual caseworker is sending out their own letters. We are offering each parent that approaches us, our sliding fee scale to private pay. They, of course, have to do the math to see what they can afford. We know that many people abuse the system. BUT this will have such a negative trickle down effect. I do not know what the criteria is. Some parents have been told the amount of hours they work is an issue. Others have been told their income is the issue. Will employees of Oneida County lose their jobs? It is unreal.

n child care, such as the lack of subsidy dollars. If you have a story to share 
bout impact on your center or if you have stories about impact on parents, will

e plan to discuss these to plan our advocacy strategy. These are issues that 
re playing out all across NYS.
