Wanted to share this info sent by Peggy Liuzzi in Syracuse. Arlene took this
course and says it is phenomenal so this is a wonderful opportunity. Sorry,

Syracuse University has decided to open up one day of its nationally known
Quality Infant Caregiving course free to local child care providers and
practitioners.  The day will provide 7 hours of high quality training that
meets NY State OCFS requirements.  Here are the details:

 

The Quality Infant Caregiving Day will feature presentations by Dr. Alan
Fogel, Professor of Developmental Psychology at The University of Utah and
Dr. Alice Honig, Professor Emerita of Child & Family Studies at Syracuse
University

 

When:  Thursday, May 19th, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

 

Please bring a brown bag lunch.  Coffee and juice provided.

 

Where:  426 Ostrom Avenue (a white building across from Thornden Park)

 

Parking:  Free at Booth Garage

 

Pre-registration required.  Call Amy Pangborn at 443-1715 to register and
arrange parking.
