Thanks so much for responding, Debbie. All is CRAZY here..we are going
through strategic planning with CCE, as well as year- end reporting and our
typical workload! But other than that all is well!
Thanks for keeping in touch
Lorraine

System Survey
Hi Lorraine,
We are already on CCTA. I did respond to the the survey. We receive our DSS
payment as usual each month per the schedule determined by OC DSS. We do not
get paid any sooner by being on this system. The best part about it is we
continue to get parental signatures each month but the info can be submitted
without the signature. Before we would have to wait and track down parents
before we could mail out the attendance sheets. We created our own sheets
that parents sign and we keep on file per the CCTA webinar suggestion.
Hope all is well.
Debbie

Survey
I sit on the NYS Policy Committee at the state level and one of the issues
we will be discussing is the new Child Care Time and Attendance System for
subsidy children in child care programs. If you have issues you would like
us to address, it would be very helpful if you would respond to the survey
below.
Thank you in advance for your time in responding.
Also, just to let you know that at our last Policy Council meeting, I raised
the issue that was discussed recently at a Madison Co meeting related to
subsidy parents who exceed the allowed absences (by the county)making a
center absorb the cost of holding a spot for a no-show child. It was
interesting to learn that this issue is not unique to our area but across
the state so we will be looking into that further.
thanks
Lorraine
Subject: Child Care Time and Attendance System Survey
The Public Policy Committee of the Board of Directors recently discussed the
issues currently being raised by the newly implemented Child Care Time and
Attendance System (CCTA). In order to proceed with this matter, a little
more information is needed. A smaller sub-committee has developed a survey
which aims to get at the specific concerns that have come about.
