You are probably aware that NYS will be applying for a Federal Early Learning Challenge Grant. Here is a link to Gov Cuomo's announcement related to this: http://www.governor.ny.gov/press/071511race
New York State is eligible to receive up to $100 million to improve the quality and access of early learning programs. Very soon (by Oct 5), the state will be asking for letters of support to be sent to the Governor's office to show support for NYS to get this grant. Will you be willing to write such a letter? I have not yet gotten the details of what needs to be mentioned in the letter but will send it when I do. As you can see, the turn around time on this is very short.
