Complacency and the belief that "it won't happen to me" can have devastating consequences.  Reality has shown that disasters do not discriminate - they happen anytime, anywhere, and to anyone so it is important to be prepared before disaster strikes - it can save your life and the lives of your loves ones.
Oneida County Health Department is sponsoring a Community Disaster Preparedness event on Thursday July 19th at RCIL on Genesee Street.  Attached is the flyer for this FREE event that will help all to be better prepared when, not if, an emergency occurs.  In a quick 20 minute interactive educational session, each head of household that attends will receive a FREE emergency preparedness kit to get on the road to being better prepared (See attached flyer for more details).

All are welcome - please assist us in making our community better prepared and sign yourself up for a slot today and post and distribute broadly to your clients, family, friends, co-workers, and professional contacts.
