Subject: [Tricountydirectorsgroup] participation in focus group for Cornell
U

At the last tri-county directors meeting, there were some present who
indicated that they would be willing to participate in a focus group
conducted by the Nutrition Team of Cornell. We have a tentative date of
March 29th here in Room D (where we usually meet) from 9-10AM. I spoke with
the lead researcher today and she said we could accept a couple more (up to
10 maximum). So if you were at that meeting and want to participate or you
were not there and would be interested in sharing your feedback on obesity
prevention and strategies to introduce fruits and vegetable to young
children, please let me know asap.
For those who indicated that they would be willing will you please save that
date for now until I hear back from her to definitely confirm that day?
I have the following people listed
Amy Burns-Franz, Gineene Commito-Paulson, Marguerite Edwards, Sue Gentile,
Pam Mazzorana, Samantha Schrek-Ivey, Rosanne Swift, and Robin Wiginton. Was
there anyone else?
Thanks so much to all who volunteered!
Also, I would like to reach out to those who indicated an interest in
getting the free 12-hr Science Plus training for school age teachers. I will
be checking on available dates. (3) 4- hr sessions was what I was planning
to do...hopefully in early April. The manuals for each participant are
currently on their way (according to UPS tracking) For SACC educators, would
a middle of the day training time be best? Please let me know, ok?
Have a great evening!
Lorraine
