[Tricountydirectorsgroup] Confirmed cases of Shigellosis in child care settings

Just wanted to share what I saw on the news tonight about Shigellosis. Health experts say children in child care settings probably do not wash their hands well enough or often enough and there are confirmed cases. They recommend that child care programs avoid play dough and other play things that cannot be washed and to ensure proper hand washing. Arlene may have more info...just wanted to get this out asap.
