[Tricountydirectorsgroup] Fall Conference on Oct 20

A note to let you know that our annual Fall Conference will be on Oct 20, 2012 from 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM, here at the Cooperative Extension auditorium.
This year, we are having as our Keynote Speaker, Betsy Evans, Author of "You Can't Come to My Birthday Party" and "You're Not My Friend Anymore". She is also a High Scope Education Consultant and  a Conflict Resolution Specialist. Her Presentations is entitled "Stop Bullying Before it Starts: What Adults Can Do to Stop Hurtful Behavior Before it Becomes a Pattern of Bullying". She will also provide a follow up to her keynote....a 2-part workshop that will go more in depth about the strategies to use to identify and manage difficult behavior. We also have other workshops for those who want to take something else after the keynote presentation I am attaching the brochure but you will also get one in the mail. Since bullying is a concern for parents as well, we are opening it up to parents to attend this year. Will you please post this information on your parent bulletin board or share it with them?
