Hello Everyone,

Tammy and I were trained in Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect (PCAN):  Parent- Provider Partnerships in Child Care, a curriculum that will actually cover all  required topic categories for OCFS.  Please take a moment to review the attached Flyer about PCAN overview.  By no means is it just PCAN, but a lot of interactive presentations/activities that really look at Partnerships.... Not just provider and parent, but provider and director, working with your co-workers, parent child.  This material is presented mostly in an interactive style.  So take some time to attend the introduction and after discuss with us what topics are most interesting to you.....what is the best way to offer the training 9 day of week time), etc.  I look forward to hearing from you.

This is also very helpful training to staff who work with families as home visitors and other areas.
