children learn literacy through the environment and the relationship between literacy and cultural diversity. This overview will include information on the ITA project that will include how to build a rich environment that includes literacy in every area of
learning. The Literacy Rich Environment includes cultural diversity, non-stereotypical roles, family compositions and individuals with special needs. We will look at environmental print, writing, reading, choosing appropriate books/materials and setting up
